Use the library to...
Relax! Catch up on best-sellers and popular books-on-tape program, in both cassette and CD. A lease program allows the library to regularly acquire current fiction and nonfiction. Give your input into what is ordered next.
Explore! Every library has books, but don't forget about checking out how-to and entertainment videos or DVD's. Enjoy the latest in music CD's and popular new magazine issues. Use the interlibrary loan service to obtain material beyond the library's collection.
Study! The library maintains the latest study guides, such as the ACT and SAT, in both books and on CD. An extensive book collection of DANTES and CLEP materials covers a wide variety of subjects, many on video and CD.
Volunteer! Share your talent and time. Whether it's helping a customer find a selection or setting up for the periodic book sales, the library can use you!
Advance! From preschool to Ph.D. as well as Professional Military Education material, visit the library to find the educational resources you need. Resources for parents who home school are a high priority and parents are encouraged to work with the staff to help select materials.
Surf! Visit the state-of-the-art computer lab with its research databases, DSL internet access, and e-mail services. Take home CD-ROM programs in science, math, literature, languages, cooking, typing, and early childhood reading.
Transition! Make your change from military service to the civilian world easier by using the library's special transitioning collection. This material offers employment guidance through magazines, books, and websites. Spouses and dependents can take advantage of these resources for job hunting as well.
